This is where it all started.........

A bunch of friends got together in a garage, making racket. They went from cover music to writing, playing and singing their own music.

An album was recorded.

The shows started, the people came. The venues started calling back. Channel 99 started to headline, the dedicated started to buy the merch, sing the songs and follow from club to club. The band went on a North American tour, living out of a brown "shit stain" van. More and more people were coming out. Bands like Sum 41 were opening for Channel 99.

As they started to break the mold and really hit the scene, it all fell apart.

Channel 99 couldn't be more proud of how it all started, because if it didn't start then we would not be where we are today.

Thank you to everyone who came out in our early years, singing along, all the mosh pits, head banging and support .
